BTN Dash Aquathlon 2025: A Multi-Sport Celebration of Speed, Stamina, and Community

Held on February 9, 2025, the fourth BTN Dash Aquathlon drew over 500 participants, from seasoned athletes to energetic kids and families. Hosted at the Aquatic Stadium and surrounding Gelora Bung Karno complex in Jakarta, the event marked the first major sports competition of the year and doubled as a celebration of Bank BTN’s 75th anniversary.

Dash Sports, a mobile app hub launched in 2020 to connect sports lovers and communities, teamed up with Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) to deliver a vibrant, high-energy event. According to BTN’s Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando, the Aquathlon’s spirit of speed and endurance mirrors BTN’s rebranding push toward faster service and healthier living.

“Health is an investment in the future,” Armando emphasized, linking the event to BTN’s broader mission.

Dash Aquathlon featured four race categories:

  • Junior (13–16 years)
  • General (17–39 years)
  • Master (40+ years)
  • Mixed Relay (All Ages) – a new addition this year
  • Participants tackled a 2.5 km run, a 500 m swim in the Olympic pool, and a final 2.5 km sprint to the finish.
